Emma Sue Kieffer

Emma Sue represents clients in construction defect litigation and insurance defense. Growing up in a three-generation family construction business in the Midwest, she developed an understanding of the construction industry, the people who work in it, and the practical realities contractors face. Combined with her legal education focused on business law and undergraduate studies in political science and economics, Emma Sue approaches construction cases with insight into the intersecting factors that shape these disputes.

Emma Sue leverages a sophisticated understanding of the legal process to deliver efficient, results-oriented representation. Prior to law school, she managed hundreds of high-stakes cases as the lead litigation paralegal for the City of Indianapolis Corporation Counsel. Her comprehensive command of case management, from demand through trial and appeal., ensures her clients receive rigorous defense and clear, strategic guidance at every stage. 

When she’s not advocating for clients, Emma Sue is an avid golfer, and also enjoys snowboarding, backpacking, playing music, and attending live events throughout the Pacific Northwest.
