In a customer injury case against one of our national retail clients, Plaintiff demanded $1.6 million in damages. Our savvy legal team was able to gather enough evidence to persuade Plaintiff's medical expert to recant his opinion that the incident caused Plaintiff's injuries. In pretrial motions, the judge agreed with us that no reasonable juror could establish causation without expert testimony, and Plaintiff's case was reduced to just two days of non-economic damages.

In a motor vehicle accident case, Plaintiff alleged years of treatment  as a result of the collision with our client admitting liability. Although Plaintiff demanded $100,000 at arbitration , we were able to convince the arbitrator that none of Plaintiff’s medical treatment was related to the collision. As a result, the arbitrator awarded only $7,700 in non-economic damages .
